We are a family run private children’s day nursery situated on the Castlewellan road Banbridge. We provide childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
Meeting individual needs is priority so we work closely with you and your babies routine. We focus on sensory, physical and language development providing play that stimulates and encourages your baby while providing a clean and safe environment.
WOW! Busy, busy, busy toddlers! An exciting age, exploring, investigating and always on the move. We have a fun filled room and plenty of activities and outdoor fun to meet the needs of these little explorers.
Making friends and developing fine motor skills, imagination and concentration while making decisions, taking responsibility and learning to share all takes place in our large playgroup room and out In the garden. We focus on the four key development areas; language, social & emotional, physical and cognitive, ensuring your child is reaching their milestones and preparing them for Preschool.
We deliver the Preschool curriculum which consists of 6 areas of learning as set down by the Education Authority. They are Language development, Early maths, The Arts, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical development and the World around us. “Every Preschool setting that is funded by the department, regardless of how it is managed, has been accredited and delivers the same curriculum. They are all subject to inspection by Preschool Education experts from the ETI, helping to ensure the standard of delivery is maintained as high as possible” EA Our staff are dedicated and committed to nurturing each child as an individual, helping them reach their full potential whilst preparing them for entry into formal Primary education.
For children of primary school age we have a great programme and range of activities and projects where the boys and girls are involved in the planning and the preparation of their meals and snacks. We have a large room and a cosy room to relax and plenty of space outside for games and fun. During term time their is the opportunity for a period of supervised homework and we have a collection service from most local primary schools.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, we work with various agencies to ensure we meet the needs of each and every child.
